DUAL ENGINE, TWIN STICK CONTROLS
Independently control each engine for nuanced handling at blistering speeds. Intuitive to learn, but hard to master. Master the trade-offs and perfect your style of piloting as each side's engine has thrust, lift, and strafe components allowing for multiple techniques of tackling turns or entering flow state through the chicanes.
DRIVE TO SURVIVE
Finish the race at all costs. Credits are awarded to the fastest pilots or stolen by collecting contracts on other players. Tactfully pass at opportune moments, or employ evasive maneuvers mimicking a jet dogfighting - advantage goes to the player behind until you cross the finish line. Energy can be charged to unleash one-hit-kill cannons; however, it comes with the risk of temporarily giving up piloting control to take your shot. Mastering risk-reward will be key to survival and victory.
COMPETITION AND STAKES
Put your skills to the test against other pilots in sponsored tournaments and events. If you're confident, ante your credits, use them to place contracts on other pilots, or pay off judges to bring in over-tuned parts
Customize Your Ship
Warp Drive
The warp is the one of the most important tools in any good pilot's arsenal, allowing him to store the energy from his engine for short periods of time and release it in powerful, dangerous bursts. Charge your engines as long as you dare and leave your enemies in the dust!
Engines
The engines are the heart and soul of any good racing machine. Many parts of a ship find their worth in the subtlety of their impact. Not so with the engines. The pilot is tasked with the difficult job of holding the reins to two powerful jets, dragging the whole ship forward at blinding speeds.
Hull
High speeds and sharp enemies present numerous threats to a competitive pilot. The fuselage is the final shell protecting against those threats. Will you cover yourself in armor to prepare for the brawl, or go without and rely on your speed and wits to protect you?
Weapon
Perhaps the most controversial part of a pilot's kit is their weapon. While not inherently part of the ship, the fact that racers may carry their own weapons in the cockpit has become an integral part of competetive racing, raising the stakes and enabling hair-raising displays of skill.
Stabilizers
Anti-gravity lift systems are a key innovation that led to racing as it's known today. Now just called stabilizers it uses a combination of jets, magnetizism, and a smattering of quantum mass tunneling to keep ships hovering 'safely' above the ground, with just the right amount of resistance to allow for control and extremely high speeds.
PRS
The Pneumatic Reaction System is a pilot's last defense against disaster, and one of many tools for displaying incredible skill. Using sharp bursts of coordinated energy, the PRS system enables swift lateral movements and finesse to navigate through tight spaces and evade obstacles or enemies.
